WOMEDA is a grassroots NGO based in Karagwe, Tanzania, that promotes the status of marginalized groups by creating and strengthening equal opportunities for women, men, and children through the provision of socioeconomic, legal, and human rights activities in order to attain sustainable development. Grace's Story.

Grace was married thirty-four years before her husband began illegally selling their property. They visited WOMEDA for counseling, but after her 60km walk home, she discovered that her husband had removed her roof, windows, and front door. (continue reading)
